...and i'm excited about it!after reading great examples of blogs over the past few years i thought i'd give it a shot. granted my free time has dwindled down to practically nothing due to the constant attention that our little one requires. however, with the new year approaching i feel that this is a worthy resolution for 2008. i will officially make it a goal to be a loyal blogger - and of course this is for the benefit of my friends & family who i rarely get to see.
so it's that time of the year - which really should be the happiest time or the most wonderful time according to burle ives. but somehow it has become one of the most stressful times...with the shopping, the crowds, the lists, the parties, yada yada yada. how do people do it? here's my philosophy: do what you can, and let the rest go. surely everyone can appreciate the outcome. it is physically impossible to be at two christmas eve parties at the same time, and the time is soon approaching where i must choose one. stay tuned...
ahonui will be a whole year old in less than two weeks. he is already walking on his own and has been for the past week. we are so proud of him. unfortunately, he seems to have caught a cold or the flu or something of the the sort. i'm just hoping he'll be feeling better by tuesday morning...his first christmas!
