which puts him in the 90th percentile for both length & weight for his age on the growth charts...what is "normal" anyway? well, i suppose the 50th percentile would be normal.
also, a few weeks ago i took him to castle's beach to meet up with my brothers and their families. looks like the little tyke doesn't need his mama anymore! he probably would have run all the way back to hukilau if i gave him the opportunity.
occasions such as these only remind me to treasure these toddler years to the fullest. obedience may not be high on ahonui's priority list, but he sure knows how to turn frustration into quick forgiveness with his silly dances, huge toothy grin, and jibberish expressions. he's got his parents wrapped around his chubby, toddler finger.
