unfortunately, i've been told that the hues i have chosen to purchase out of pure gratification and pleasure are in bad taste. "fascinating turn of events", i think to myself. could this possibly be true? me??! bad taste? how absurd!
i am quite content with not being involved in the latest and greatest fashion trends. but i wouldn't call my choice of nail polish colors distasteful or cheap - far from it with regard to the prices i paid at the mall. what a bunch of crazy talk. so please indulge me as i indulge myself in the sparkly black, metallic turquoise, or pearly white colors that i will oh-so-decadently enjoy despite the remarks or judgments i receive. boo-yah!

*for those of you who are not familiar with the adjective "nails" - it is a derogatory term that probably originated in hawaii but i could be wrong. generally it has been translated as "ugly", "hideous", and you get the idea...

Harm, you should come to New York. Your nails would fit right in my neighborhood. :)
