ahonui is becoming more aware of the camera, and seems to be a lot more photogenic recently. he will smile as soon as the flash goes, but he seems a bit confused at the same time. i love it...
when we took him to nursery yesterday (even though he's not quite 18 months, as the nursery leaders, we don't have much of an option except to bring him with us...) he played so well with the other children, and ate just as much as the others during snack time too. for some strange reason, i have a feeling he'll be one of the biggest kids in his class when he goes to school. it was nice to have tane, angela, and ava visit during sacrament meeting as well.
now that church ends at 1:00pm every week, his naptime comes later than usual on sundays. he was fully ready for that nap by the time we got home yesterday...and he slept for almost 4 hours! what a considerate little boy. that left brandon & i much needed time to clean the apartment, make dinner, take naps of our own, and watch the last half of the super bowl. sorry about the pats, j. after ahonui woke up and ate dinner, he kept himself busy pulling out his books, and playing with his toys. no fussing or complaining...just happy to be with his parents.
i look forward to many more days like yesterday with our little ahonui.
